The time is ripe for a focused plan to ensure that our future food systems include a strong foundation in organic.

This is why COTA, the Canadian Organic Growers (COG) and the Organic Federation of Canada (OFC) are developing an Organic Action Plan (OAP) for Canada –  but we need your help!

This comprehensive plan will recognize the important role that organic plays in the future of sustainable agriculture in Canada, just like successful initiatives in the United States and the European Union.

The OAP proposes ambitious national targets, supports for transitioning to organic practices, investments in research, market insights, and collaboration with key agencies like Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.

Your input is vital in making the OAP a reality. Your thoughts will help shape the framework and priorities that guide this transformative plan.
