Your Connection to
Organics In Alberta

Eat Organics

Choosing organic supports farming that cares for the land, protects clean water, and promotes biodiversity, while avoiding synthetic inputs. Organic crops prioritize soil health and sustainability, and organic meat, dairy, and eggs come from animals raised with high welfare standards. It’s an investment in healthy ecosystems, humane care, and a sustainable future.

Grow Organics

Organic demand is booming. Over 20 million Canadians buy organic weekly, and global markets are wide open to Canadian producers. Organic farms earn more per acre, have access to 96% of the world’s organic market, and benefit from growing research and funding. With nearly 5,000 certified operations thriving, there’s never been a better time to grow organic.

What We Do

Organic Alberta’s mission is to represent, support, and advance Alberta’s organic community.

Established in 2005, we represent all organic producers and processors in Alberta as well as businesses across the organic community.

Organic Alberta is the voice of organics. We communicate with and for the sector, we market the organic brand, we encourage and support producers to become organic, we cultivate better production practices, and we advance business development. We lead the industry towards success. We believe in good, pure, healthy food that is environmentally friendly, free of genetic modification and ethically produced with high standards for animal welfare.
