Join us January 24th, 2026 for a full-day gathering on Treaty 6 Territory in Camrose, Alberta, to connect, learn, feast, and celebrate all things farming!
What to expect:
🌾A community space where you can get to know other new and aspiring farmers
🌾Teachings from Elder Eugene Makokis
🌾A space for creative thinking, entrepreneurship, and discussing new ideas
🌾A panel with local first-generation farmers who will share their journeys, barriers they experienced, lessons learned, and breakthroughs
🌾Breakout sessions on topics like soil health, grazing, market gardening, and farm business set up
🌾A delicious potluck lunch, and a locally sourced and catered community dinner
The mixer is open to everyone – whether you are 3 or 83, we welcome agrarians of all ages!
