New! Canadian Organic Standard Information Sessions
On November 12 and 13, 2026, Organic Alberta will be offering sessions on the revised Canadian Organic Standard. Offered in-person at the Lacombe Memorial Centre in Lacombe, Alberta, these sessions will be of interest to:
- farmers and food processors interested in attaining organic certification for their operations and
- existing certified organic operations interested in learning about the newly revised Canadian Organic Standard.
With a limited number of trade show booths available, this will be a great chance for certification bodies and other companies to spend a day talking to old friends and potential new entrants.
Organic Alberta 2027 Conference and Trade Show in Lacombe
On March 4-5, 2027, the Lacombe Memorial Centre will be the home for one of Alberta’s most dynamic organic and sustainable agriculture gatherings. Our Conference and Trade Show brings together hundreds of organic, in-transition, and conventional farmers, processors, and agricultural professionals from across the province. This year, Alberta Farm Fresh Producers Association will also be hosting sessions on agri-tourism.
This is where connections are made, stories are shared, and new solutions and products take root on the farm. On April 9th, 2027, Organic Alberta will bring together farmers, processors, and AG professionals from across Northern Alberta at the La Crete Heritage Centre. This one-day conference and trade show is dedicated to the unique opportunities and challenges of the region.
