These tours will take place at Annelida Soil Solutions Ltd. and The Little Potato Company, both in Nisku, Alberta.
Annelida Soil Solutions is North America’s largest indoor worm farm. At their facility in Nisku, Alberta, they transform organic waste into premium worm castings, liquid extracts, and natural granular fertilizers. Their eco-friendly products enhance soil health and support sustainable agriculture. Come join us on a behind-the-scenes tour of their facility and see how they make their magic.
On the second leg of the tour, we will trace the life of a potato as it goes through Little Potato Company’s state-of-the-art facility from receiving to sorting, to washing and packaging and finally shipping. Their receiving, sorting and washline are highly automated and are always a treat for visitors to watch. In addition, their plant is very ecologically friendly and impressive, a fact that isn’t immediately obvious from the outside.
