Join Organic Alberta for a thoughtful discussion on our current organic agriculture research priorities. If you’re an organic farmer or otherwise interested person, we’d love to hear your ideas.
Since 2003, the Organic Agriculture Centre of Canada (OACC) and Organic Federation of Canada have led national initiatives to identify organic research needs and establish research priorities. The most recent priorities were published in the 2021 Canadian Organic Research Priorities report.
Building on this work, we are now reviewing and updating the 2021 priorities with input from you, stakeholders across Canada’s organic sector. The updated priorities will help guide decision-making around organic agriculture research. These priorities may also guide researchers in identifying areas of research focus and support grant applications to various funding programs.
