Peace Region Organic Success Program
Organic Alberta’s newest initiative, the Peace Region Organic Success Program (PROSPr), is designed to provide holistic support for organic farmers across Alberta’s Peace Region. As a key hub for organic oat production, the Peace Region is renowned for both the exceptional quality and impressive volume of oats it contributes to Canada’s local and global markets. Through PROSPr, we are working alongside regional partners, industry, and counties to strengthen the resilience of the agricultural sector and foster continued growth in this vital region.

Scaling Up Organics
Organic Alberta and partners across Canada are leading a $1.4M national project (2023–2026) to strengthen the organic sector. Scaling Up Organics is advancing profitability, sustainability, and resilience by building evidence through soil health benchmarking and data collection, growing leadership with farmer training and educational events, and building public trust by showcasing the many benefits of organics to Canadians.
