Volunteer Opportunities

Join our team and help make our conferences a success! We have a variety of volunteer roles available at both the Central Conference (March 13–14 at the Beaumont Community Centre) and the La Crete Conference (April 10 at the La Crete Heritage Centre). Your contributions will directly support Alberta’s organic community and help bring these events to life! Volunteers are essential to creating a welcoming, smoothly run event, and as a thank-you, all volunteers receive free conference registration.

Event Support Volunteers (2–3 positions available): As a general volunteer, you’ll be a flexible, on-the-go helper, stepping in wherever the team needs you most. Tasks could include assisting at registration, supporting hospitality, helping with setup or cleanup, or providing guidance to attendees. Your adaptability will help the event run smoothly from start to finish. Volunteers receive free conference registration as thanks for their support.

Registration Volunteers (2 positions available): On the day of the event, you’ll staff the registration desk,  greeting attendees, issuing badges, answering questions, and ensuring the check-in process runs smoothly. You’ll be one of the first friendly faces participants meet, helping set a positive tone for the day. Volunteers receive free conference registration as thanks for their support.

Service Volunteers (2-3 positions available): You’ll help with hospitality tasks like putting out snacks, refilling water stations, clearing tables, and assisting attendees with comfort needs. It’s a key behind-the-scenes role that keeps everything running seamlessly. Volunteers receive free conference registration as thanks for their support.
