Organic Alberta is bringing together our associate members for a listening session focused on the current and future needs of Alberta’s organic industry.
This is an opportunity for businesses and organizations working in the organic sector to share what you are seeing on the ground: the challenges, opportunities, market changes, emerging needs and issues that you believe will shape the industry in the years ahead.
Come prepared to share your perspective
Each participating corporate member will be asked to prepare a short, three-minute summary addressing:
- What are the biggest opportunities and challenges you are seeing in Alberta’s organic industry right now?
- What changes are you seeing in the marketplace, supply chain, production, regulation or consumer demand?
- What does the organic sector need more of?
- Where should Organic Alberta be focusing its energy and resources?
- What role should Organic Alberta play in supporting the industry?
- What should the Alberta organic industry be thinking about over the next 3–5 years?
There is no need to prepare a formal presentation. A few talking points are all you need. Following the three-minute summaries, we’ll open the floor for discussion and deeper conversation around the issues and ideas raised.
The feedback from this session will help inform Organic Alberta’s board strategic planning sessions in December as the board considers the organization’s priorities and direction for the coming years.
Who can attend?
This session is for current paid Organic Alberta Associate Members (preivously called “corporate” and “corporate plus”).
All members must have paid their membership fee for the current membership year to participate.
