New statistics show that organic farmland has reached nearly 70 million hectares worldwide and the global organic market has reached 97 billion US dollars, the highest market yet, according to recent data compiled by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL) and IFOAM and presented at BIOFACH 2019 in Nuremberg, Germany yesterday.
