This year’s conference aims to go beyond general crop production and tackle farm management issues. The information presented will assist farmers in their business decision making. Our conference provides educational and networking opportunities for new and established farmers, organic and conventional. Topics include acidic soil, local research results, creating a company farm, weed update, wetland management and soil moisture, grain marketing and more! In addition to learning from experts and connecting with neighbours, attendees also have the chance to visit with over 25 exhibitors in the concurrent Trade Show featuring grain buyers, products distributors, certifying bodies and more.

In light of recent developments regarding COVID-19, we have made the decision to postpone the 2020 Organic Alberta La Crete Conference until further notice. The health and safety of our members is our top priority, and we believe that postponing the event is in the best interest of the Mackenzie County Community.

We are still committed to growing knowledge on organics in Alberta and are working to secure a new date to hold the annual conference. We are working to refund all payments that have been made to attend or exhibit at the conference. We thank you for your patience and understanding in these exceptional circumstances. We will be releasing more information as soon as possible.
