Grow a Row with Edmonton Meals on Wheels promotes going green and eating local. They invite local gardeners and farmers to donate their fresh produce. With the fruits and vegetable, they are able to make the meals that nourish the body and feed the soul.
In 2008, they received donations of over 2,340 lbs of fruit and vegetables and 1,860 lbs in 2009. They accept all fruits, vegetables, herbs and federally inspected meat products.
