Standards Interpretation Committee Nominations 2011

The Canada Organic Office, in cooperation with the Organic Federation of Canada, has established a permanent system for interpretation of the Canadian Organic Standards. An important element of this system is the Standards Interpretation Committee (SIC). The attached document outlines the function of the committee, in detail, as well as the selection criteria and process of its members.

In accordance with SIC terms of Reference, the terms of four committee members, Ted Zettel, Jean Duval, Janine Gibson, Dag Falck, are ending in December 2011.

You are invited to submit nominations for these four positions. People ending their terms may run for re-election but must be nominated again. Nominees must be voting members of the CGSB Committee on Organic Agriculture (the CGSB member list is attached below).
