March 1st, The Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-food held a session on Biotechnology to hear three witnesses:
Steve Fabajanski, President and Chief Executive Officer, Agrisoma Biosciences Inc., Ted Zettel, President, Organic Federation of Canada and Peter W.B. Phillips, Professor, Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy, of the University of Saskatchewan.
Each witness was allocated ten minutes to present his point of view; the speeches were followed by a question period from the Members of Parliament.
