CFIA told the Canadian Organic Growers that the Canada Organic Office (COO) will move to a new Labelling and Claims Directorate under the organization's Consumer Protection Division. This could be a good place for the COO, providing a tighter alignment between other types of label claims and "organic". The new director is Daniel Miller.
