Salary: G3 (Agrologist 3) $57,120.00 - $73,983.00 per year (Regular/full-time position)

The Business Development Specialist – Organic Marketing acts as the Provincial Specialist in Organic Marketing and is the liaison between the organic industry and government. Using your training in food science or business management, experience developing and delivering marketing programs, knowledge and experience in the food processing industry, as well as strong leadership and communication skills, you will: analyze market trends and industry activities in the organic sector to identify marketing opportunities and support industry efforts to develop strategies for marketing products; coordinate special events for the promotion and marketing of the organic sector; provide advice and develop resources and training on the marketing of organic products; and assist organic businesses in marketing their products through traditional and non-traditional marketing channels.

Requires valid Class 5 driver’s license, access to a vehicle for use on the job, and the ability to travel throughout Manitoba.
