We`re looking for motivated and enthusiastic volunteers who share our values, who are over 18, and are members of Canadian Organic Growers. Board members must commit to a minimum of 40 hours of time per year, take on a leadership role with respect to at least one subcommittee or task, use email and be willing and able to attend evening conference calls (6-7 per year).

While we encourage knowledgeable individuals from all walks of life, we are particularly seeking expertise in the following areas:

• law
• fundraising
• sales & marketing
• finance
• organic retail

Currently, we do not have any board members from British Columbia, so we would particularly welcome nominations from this region.

Nominations should be addressed to the Elections Officer and signed by the nominee who must indicate willingness to stand for election. Mail nominations to 323 Chapel St., Ottawa, ON, K1N 7Z2 (or email to officeatcog.ca). Nominations must be accompanied by at least 3 letters of support from COG members.
