The Standards Committee on Organic Aquaculture members are now voting on the latest draft of the Organic Aquaculture Standard CAN/CGSB-32.312; closing date is October 17. The organic terrestrial sector not being so familiar with aquaculture farming, the OFC has compared the aquaculture and agriculture organic standards in order to get a better idea on what is similar and what is different between those two organic standards. The comparison is done section by section, the aquaculture standard being set as the reference, in the blue column of the attached pdf documents.
