The first set of draft Questions and Answers for the Standards Interpretation Committee (SIC) were officially posted on the Canada Organic Office's web page last week. The 60 day comment period will close on July 6, 2010. Please send comments to

Following the close of the comment period the SIC will consider all comments before final responses are published.
The SIC will begin to publish questions & answers on a monthly basis. Notification of their publication will be sent through the OFC CAN REG list, OTA, COG and the CVBs until a CFIA Organic List Serve is in
place.
