Allergic and Gluten Free Living: A Workshop for Food Processors (Feb 21, 2012)

Over 2.5 million Canadians are affected by food allergies and another 300,000 may have celiac disease. And the numbers are rising alarmingly, especially among children. Currently, there is no cure for food allergies, which means the market for the”free from” (gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free and others) is booming.

Alberta Agriculture is putting on a workshop dealing with the “free from” market.
