Help us to raise $20,000 by April 30
What is an organic hero? In the non-profit world, heroes are the people (and organizations) who not only help us to keep the lights on and the telephones plugged in – but they make it possible for us to develop and deliver programming that benefits all our members. If you look at the back of our 2017 Annual Report, you will see a list of our heroes from 2017. These are the people who supported us with their money last year. In fact, several of those members have been supporting us financially for many years – and for that we are extremely grateful!
The Annual Report gives you a peek at the programs made possible by our heroes. We are very proud that we were able to take $5,800 worth of donations from members, add in some very generous sponsorships and contributions from our corporate friends, and turn it into $700,000 worth of programming designed to help you. They are heroes indeed!

A Message from our Executive Director
“It’s an exciting time for the organic world in Alberta. With organic markets growing, new players coming on-board and the possibility of a provincial regulation within the next year the sky is the limit when it comes to possibilities. Thank you for your support.” – Becky Lipton, Executive Director, Organic Alberta
Pledge to be an Organic Hero Now!
This year we are upping our game a bit. We are hoping to raise $20,000. Ambitious? Yes. Doable? Absolutely. If every member was to send us $40, we could easily meet our goal. At the recent conference in Red Deer we were able to raise nearly $4,000. Over the past few years, the average member donation has been $100. Several of you consistently donate more than that, others less. The important thing is that everyone donates what they can afford.
