The Organic Crop Improvement Association (OCIA) will be holding a free transition workshop on the afternoon of June 9th , from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at Sunnie Valley Farms, north of Westlock. There will also be a tour of the farm which has been certified organic for 22 years. OCIA is an international, member run, not for profit organic certifying body which also provides research and education on organic farming. Anyone who is interested in organic farming (big or small) or considering transitioning into organic farming is welcome to attend. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. Directions will be provided at time of registration.
