Field trial tour includes: Intercropping and fallowing cash crops, diversified cropping strategies to improve sustainability of organic production: cover crop blends and fallowing cash crops, allelopathy, tillage timing and intensity, polycrop mixes for grazing, phoma bioherbicide, new organic trials and studies starting in 2019

Afternoon presentations: Mixed grain intercrops, role of field boundary habitats in agro-ecosystems, market signals and converting to organic farming, agronomy and ecology for organic production, update on SaskOrganics activities, organic producer panel about on-farm research projects and participatory breeding, display on organic agriculture in the prairies.

Tickets: $30 (includes lunch, coffee breaks, and a 50-page book of proceedings)
