The Prairie Organic Grain Initiative (POGI) has now released the Organic Agriculture in the Prairies – 2017 Data Report. Organic certification bodies across Canada and the United States provided 2017 operation and acreage data to the Canada Organic Trade Association (COTA), who in turn compiled, analyzed, and produced the report, with support and insights from experts in the organic sector.

Jill Guerra, Research and Special Projects Coordinator at COTA presented report results to participants during POGI’s November Stakeholder Teleconference call. The full report is now available to the public.
