Last spring, Canadian Organic Growers (COG) submitted a list of homemade food-based pest and weed controllers to Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Industry (PMRA). This list is known as the Food-on-Food list. Recently, Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) has released revisions to the Pest Control Product Regulations, and the Food-on-Food list recommended by COG has been included.

Now, this document is open to public revision, and we encourage the public to look at and submit suggestions to the report before February 28th, 2019.
