Grass Roots Family Farm and Young Agrarians are happy to host Eliese Watson from ABC Bees for a Level One Beekeeping Certificate 

Date: April 8th & 9th, 2017

Time: 9 am – 5 pm

Location: Ferintosh Community Rec. Centre

Cost: $325 (scholarship available, apply online)

Homemade lunches, light refreshments, coffee & tea provided

Eliese Watson is the Founder of ABC Bees and an advocate for small-scale beekeeping across Canada. This 16-hour intensive program will offer everything you need to know to get started with beekeeping, including honey bee biology and health, nectar and pollen plants, feeding, management through all the seasons, and pest management. A Beekeeping in Western Canada textbook is included with registration.
